InDex diagnostics technology focuses on multi-gene analysis and it enables healtcare professionals to:

Up to a third of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients may be misdiagnosed - ulcerative colitis (UC) versus Crohn’s disease (CD) - and the less severe condition irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is often mistaken for IBD.

The company’s first diagnostic product DiBiCol^®, is currently being launched on the Swedish market. It offers a novel standard for gastrointestinal disease classification, which initially addresses a market of some 200,000 tests per annum in Europe and USA.

In addition, InDex innovations in diagnostics include DiaFeCol™, a feces-based test for IBD/IBS classification using a similar multi-gene approach as in the DiBiCol test; and a companion diagnostic, which is a new personalized medicine approach by early identification of responding versus non-responding patients.
